The future of publishing may look very different
It used to be that if you wanted to publish a book with a traditional publisher (not self-published) the first question they wanted to know… even before knowing if your book was any good, was how big your social media reach could be.
But the criteria to get published (and to actually make money from writing a book) may be changing.
Today marks the last week of posts before our upcoming Workshop #3 on Saturday, with a theme of how AI is opening up new markets and new ways for you to monetize your expertise.
The first example I want to share, is the book designed to be read as a conversation with generative AI. The concept is not new. In fact - it has been a figment of sci-fi for generations, as exampled in Neil Stephenson’s The Diamond Age.
